The 1st Medical Supplies Division Pickleball Tournament – Exciting, Thrilling, and a Resounding Success
In celebration of 50 years of National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) and International Workers’ Day (May 1), the Medical Supplies Division successfully organized its very first Pickleball Tournament at the factory’s sports ground. The event quickly became a highlight of internal activities, attracting enthusiastic participation and lively support from employees across the division.
With a men’s doubles format, group stages, and knockout rounds, the tournament delivered nearly 20 thrilling matches from the opening games through to the semifinals and finals. Although a friendly competition, the fiery spirit of the players, powerful rallies, and passionate cheers from the crowd turned the tournament into a true “sports festival.” The atmosphere on the court was charged with intensity, yet also filled with laughter and camaraderie.
After a series of gripping matches, the duo Huu Tin & Thien Thanh emerged as champions, showcasing impressive skill and teamwork. Phu Canh & Van Cuong secured second place, while Duc Loc & Tien Su claimed third with strong performances that won well-deserved recognition.
The 1st Pickleball Tournament not only provided a meaningful sports platform but also strengthened unity, encouraged healthy living, and inspired the spirit of “work hard, play hard” throughout the Medical Supplies Division.
With the resounding success of this inaugural event, the Organizing Committee is confident that the Pickleball Tournament will become an annual tradition – continuing to spread the values of sportsmanship, dedication, and connection in the years to come.
